Music Director

Sergio Frias is a classical guitarist, performer, and educator with an active international career. He holds a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Mexican Concert Music from the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico, where he later served as Deputy Director, Director of the International Guitar Festival, and Head of the Guitar Department. He also holds a Master's degree in Guitar Performance from Utah State University, where he has taught in the guitar department and coordinated the Classical Guitar Weekend, featuring masterclasses, competitions, and concerts.

As a soloist and chamber musician, he has performed throughout the United States, Mexico, and Latin America. His discography includes Cachumbambé, a chamber album for guitar and flute. His playing is often described as combining refined technique with expressive depth, emphasizing clarity, tone color, and musical storytelling. His students have earned prizes at national and international competitions.
